The Tchefuncta Country Club Golf Learning Center: The learning center was designed by James Leitz and was built in 2015. It allows for a private setting that is protected from the elements during a lesson. It also operates as a fully functional indoor system where all Technologies are still available. The technology used in a golf lesson at the Tchefuncta Country Club Golf Learning Center is the most advanced in the world. James uses this technology to gather baseline information on every student. It's 2000 square feet include two large hitting bays and a putting & fitting studio. We have over 300 shaft options available, plus over 50 different style Club heads from all the leading manufacturers to provide countless options to customize your club fitting experience. We also have the ability to adjust or repair existing equipment.
Trackman: Trackman is a $27,000 Doppler radar that tracks the movement of the golf club coming into the ball and the golf ball for its entire flight until it hits the ground. Trackman is the technology that you see on TV that traces the golf ball in the air. It is also now being used at every Major League Baseball Park in the country. Trackman will be calling balls and Strikes on the minor league level this next season. James was one of the very first people in the world to teach with Trackman back in 2007. James was the first teaching professional that was asked to speak at the Trackman users conference back in 2009. James has spoken at Trackman Education Conferences in the U.S., Spain, England, Denmark, and Australia. James is also spoken at National PGA educational conferences in Canada, Ireland, Scotland at St. Andrews, Finland, Switzerland, and Sweden in addition to the above countries.
Gears 3-D Motion Capture: Gears is a $40,000 camera-based 3D system that tracks the movement of the entire body and club during the golf swing. Reflective markers on the club and body are tracked at a Precision level of one tenth of 1 mm of accuracy at 360 times per second. From this data we are able to determine the movement of individual body segments. We can also see how much the golf shaft is bent and twisted during the golf swing to maximize the efficiency of Club delivery and shaft selection.
Kistler Dual Force Plates powered by S2M: 3D dual Force plates are not new technology. However, only high-end Biomechanical Research universities and hospitals had this technology. James was the very first golf teaching professional in the United States to buy the Kistler dual 3D Force plates and use them in a golf learning center environment. You cannot create any club head speed and hit a golf ball without use of the ground for instance, if you were standing on ice with smooth shoes and tried to hit a golf ball full force you would fall down and not create much Club head speed. We need the ground to push back in the exact opposite direction that our feet push into the ground to cause efficient body and Club movement. What makes these plates special is that there is one for each individual foot. That way we are able to determine which foot is contributing the force during the golf swing. This is critical to both help the golfer create more speed and to create the proper impact alignments of the club hitting the ball.
K-Motion 3-D Body Motion Capture: K-motion 3D body motion capture is 4 motion capture sensor system that are attached to the pelvis, upper torso, lead forearm, and lead wrist.
It is a lighter version of the Gears system that is described above it is quick to put on the golfer and to calibrate. The system measures the upper body and pelvis tilts and turns. It also measures the lead wrist radial, ulna, flexion and extension movement. One of the other advantages the K motion system has is its unique biofeedback system. We are able to set up a customized program that trains the golfer to get into the proper tilts and turns during the swing. This kinesthetic feel training is important for the development of the golfers movements to improve their golf swing.
Capto 3-D Putting System: The Capto 3D Putting System Clips on the shaft of the putter to determine its movement during the entire stroke. CAPTO is a putting analysis system
composed by a light, high accurate sensor and associated software.
CAPTO offers analysis in real time. Indoor & outdoor, in real game conditions.
